Dr. Zouhair El Kadhi

Bringing 12 years of experience working as a senior economist at the Macro-Fiscal Policy Unit in the Tunisian Ministry of Finance (MoF), Dr. Zouhair El Kadhi joined Pragma in 2018. After participating actively in establishing the MFU at the Libyan Ministry of Finance, Dr. Kadhi developed the first Libyan Macroeconomic Framework (MTFF) with training in fiscal programming and policies. He currently works with Pragma’s monetary policy team supporting the development of Libya’s first Monetary Policy Plan and Monetary Planning Framework with the Central Bank of Libya. Dr. El Kadhi previously served as Assistant Ministry (Tunisian Ministry of Finance) and Director of the Tunisian Institute of Competitiveness and Quantitative Studies (Tunisian Ministry of Planning). A native Arabic speaker, he is fluent in English and French, holds a PHD in Macroeconomics from the University of Nice, France, and teaches financial programming at the Tunisian University.
