Senior MEL Specialist

A civil engineer with extensive experience with non-profit organizations, Mr. Firass Alhensh has worked directly and indirectly supervising field staff and performing monitoring, evaluation accountability, and learning (MEAL) related tasks, through partners with numerous programs. These include those related to food security and livelihoods (FSL); water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), health and nutrition, and economic development. Mr. Alhensh has also worked in emergency contexts such as internally displaced persons (IDPs) and disease outbreaks. He is highly capable of developing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems and tools, including compiling indicators, tracking tables, MEAL matrixes and calendars, lesson learned reports, evaluation reports, and dealing with feedback and response mechanisms. In addition, Mr. Alhensh excel at survey designing, sampling, and data collection, management, analysis, and visualizing.
