Nizar Karaa

As the Office Director for Pragma’s Tunisia Office, Mr. Nizar Karâa manages all operations and financial aspects of the implementation of Pragma’s USAID and EU-funded projects. Ensuring compliance with local country laws, funder requirements, and Pragma policies and procedures, Mr. Karâa also acts as Pragma’s representative in all interactions with banks, the Tunisian fiscal and social authorities, and vendors. Previously a project manager in the European Union Delegation to Libya, he successfully monitored and oversaw migration and civil society projects worth some 30 million euros. Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, Mr. Karâa holds a Master’s degree in Management from the Economic and Management University of Tunis.
