Dr. Abdulaziz Zaabal

Researcher, consultant, and trainer, Dr. Abdulaziz Zaabal, is one of the leading specialists in the field of beekeeping and honey production in Yemen. Since joining Pragma in 2019, Dr. Zaabal has trained more than 1300 beekeepers and service providers in modern honey production methods and postharvest management; and has contributed to the establishment of a growing number of beekeeping associations. Prior to joining Pragma, he worked with a variety of different programs funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Islamic Development Bank, Yemen Liquid Natural Gas Company (YLNG), the Social Fund for Development (SFD), and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
