Hasan Omeman

Following a 30+ year career with the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), Mr. Hasan Omeman joined Pragma to work on supply-side power challenges in Libya. Mr. Omeman applies his vast expertise in power generation operation, maintenance, and management to support activities that have brought new power generation units online and addressed delayed maintenance to vastly strengthen Libya’s power supply so that it can meet demand without power cuts. Leading monthly workshops with GECOL engineers on power plant components and power generation processes to advance the goals and recommendation of the Libya Emergency Grid Stabilization Program, Mr. Omeman also closely follows up daily data and activities concerning power generation, including any needed load shedding, reporting, and power availability on a unit basis
