Sustainable Livelihoods Advisor

With more than 20 years of experience in agricultural and development work as a leading advisor for several multinational agricultural projects in Yemen and Saudi Arabia, Mr. Taha Nahari excels in transforming rural development into agri-businesses, and public health initiatives into sustainable projects. Working with rural communities, Mr. Nahari is responsible for all implementation phases—planning, preparation and supervision—of all agricultural activities funded by International Finance Corporation (IFC). This includes developing evaluative studies to support the establishment of agricultural projects; oversight of appropriate and cost-effective strategies and methods to increase agricultural production, productivity, and household food security; and preparation of several value chain studies for most horticultural crops. Previous roles have included those of horticultural and coffee specialist with various USAID projects.
