Wael Sami Khaddaj

Mr. Wael Khaddaj is a senior expert in taxation and auditing. For over 25 years, he has worked with tax administrations, an oversight body, and international organizations such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). During his career, Mr. Khaddaj has assumed several leadership positions and worked extensively as a tax consultant, giving specific tax technical assistance through missions conducted by the IMF and the World Bank to several tax administrations in the MENA and Gulf Regions (Kuwait, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen). He provides advice on tax laws, audit, organizational structure and job descriptions, operations, and implementation, with a special focus on value-added tax (VAT) and tax procedures. Fluent in Arabic and English, Mr. Khaddaj holds a Master’s in Auditing and two Bachelor degrees in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance, Administration and Marketing).
